He has informative and compelling discussions with people of diverse perspective and postitions; he is courteous to callers; he is never crude. Although other more strident talk show hosts may reflect my feelings and way of seeing the world, I feel they offend people who are not quite convinced.

I picked Thom Hartmann. Nobody is as eloquent, informative and interesting as him. And the fact that he's been picking up so many affiliates as of late shows that people are starting to feel the same way.

He's my favorite. I like the way Mike calls out *Co and their enablers without apology, and I love Kathy's input, interjections, and her Pickles bits.

After that, Thom Hartmann and Rachel Maddow, then Randi and Sam Seder. Sam has really come a long way in the past couple of months and I expect he will continue to improve. Unfortunately, in his new time slot I won't be able to hear him anymore.

Marc Maron is sorely missed.
