Which Party is most scared about election in November ?
Do the Republicans, even though behind in most of the polls, believe they can once again pull it out with their personal attacks and negative campaigns? Are they confident or running scared? Or do the Democrats, who are running ahead in most of the polls, believe they will once again blow another election and are playing it extremely safe? Who is running most scared - the underdog or the favorite? Will it change in the next 7 weeks?

1. I'm hoping that the republicons loose and the Dems gain both houses.
But, never underestimate the Dems pulling defeat from the mouth of victory. It's that play it safe thing as you stated.

2. I am running scared of the machines. Max Cleland was ahead
by 8 points. There was proof that the machines were tampered with. We know that Gore won Florida and that Kerry would have easily won Ohio without Jeb and Blackwell and their cheating. If we cannot get control anywhere in government because of the Pug chicanery, we cannot correct the cheating. That means democracy is dead.

3. Ann Richards had higher approval ratings, but Bush won the governorship.
Go figure.

4. The dems don't have anything to be scared of as such except losing
the re:puke:s on the other hand are guilty of not doing their jobs, as elected representatives and senators, on oversight. * and company are commiting so many crimes it would be impossible for me to even remember most of them. without re:puke:s using dirty tricks the dems will make a sweep of both house and senate, imo
