The winning Puke is the party's choice, state Senator Joy Padgett.

If anyone knows anything the Dems can use against her, don't keep it to yourself ;)

2. So they elected Bob Ney's mini-me did they?

Joy Padgett seems a little too close to Bob Ney for political comfort and her policies a little too close to Bob Taft's for economic comfort. She is already a "sore loser" this election since she lost once this time around already as Petro's running mate.

Here's one thing you should know about her: A couple of years ago she distributed a photo of a political opponent meeting with a Hezbollah leader. This picture, Padgett said, showed that said opponent was a member of the "Blame America Crowd." But guess what -- the opponent, Terry Anderson, had actually been been held captive by terrorists from 1985 to 1991. The picture was taken when he went back to Lebanon to confront his former captors.

Here's another thing about her: She originally didn't get elected to her current post. She was appointed to her State Senate seat by Bob Taft (R).
