George Clooney speaks to the U.N. Haunting words. Video.
A really famous, extraordinarily good looking, intelligent and well spoken actor speaks to the U.N. and no major MSM coverage?

(I guess Paris Hilton and Anna Nichol are the famous people du jour)

I'm watching NBC News, not mentioned 10 minutes into the show. Although, they are heavily covering gwb's failure to his torture bill passed. :-)

Clip here. Remarkable.

1. YES!
George Clooney did more to alleviate the suffering in Sudan in ONE SPEECH than George Bush did in six years! This man is just brilliant. Clooney is a articulate and intelligent speaker who tells it like it is. He makes it look so easy just hearing him speak.IMO, everyone should watch this video!

Tweety kept mentioning that George (:loveya:) and Nick were going to be on later in the show. Then with a couple of minutes left, he announced that the Clooney men were running late and would have to be rescheduled. :-(

edited for typo

4. Clooney grows as a person every time I see him
He is inspirational. It doesn't matter how good looking he is. He is one of the few celebrities today who understand the gift they have been given - power and access to the media - and never disappoint.

9. He Is My Hero. He Spoke Out At The Beginning Re: Iraq Too!
My GOD I love that man. Do you remember his Oscar speech-proud to be a LIBERAL!! They should all take a page out of his book because everything great about this country was because of liberal, progressive values and they are sure doing their damnest to villify them.
