here's what she had to say:

Anastasia De Souza died.

I read the murderer's vampirefreaks.com profile with michelle and shane today.

He just seemed like a totally normal geeky goth kid.

& he just walked into my college with an Ak-47 and two other guns and opened fire in the cafeteria.

i can't even imagine the fear and hysteria.

I keep thinking about it and how I didnt go to school.
I'm sure i wouldnt have gotten shot , actually fuck i dont know but I am so grateful to be alive and I am so grateful that my friends and loved ones are okay and i am so sorry for the parents who's children got shot on a fucking wednesday afternoon at school.

I saw a report on a man collapsing to the floor screaming why my daughter why my daughter?

My good friend martha ran for her life from the gunshots. Her sister was in nursing and stopped to save a boy's life as martha was screaming on the phone to michelle crying MY SISTER WONT RUN OFF SHE'S TRYING TO SAVE SOMEONE.

im so glad martha's ok and her sister too.

1. What an horrific experience for those people
I am very glad your friend is physically OK and deeply saddened for those that are not.

olds - some 19 or 20, a few 16 year olds.

Just heard on the News that a gun registry has resulted in a cut in 1/2 of the murders in Quebec since it was instituted. Don't know if demographics affected that too.

Provincial government will fight to keep 'Harper and the Neocons' from undoing the "long gun" registry like they are planning. Apparently their choice is to go with tough sentencing.. which doesn't stop anything like this or other crime from happening.

The good news is that some police happened to be on site as soon as the shooting started..they were investigating something else on that campus. And all police in North America are now trained to secure the perimeter AFTER they have neutralized the shooter in schools...instead of how they used to do it..like at Columbine... where regular police secured the perimeter and then waited for SWAT. Now a days.... all police have training in special situations - like they never had before. And we are very lucky that that change was made continent-wide. Everyone except for that poor girl..survived it seems.
