Ann Earns Her Wings: A PhotoShop Tribute to Ann Richards

I did a Double-Header blog today to honor two of my HERO's.

The first one is dedicated to Our Beloved Texas Governor Ann Richards.

The second one is dedicated to Keith Olbermann.

Both of these individuals didn't back down when Speaking Truth to Power. They both share an intelligent discourse with a twist of humor. They are my National Treasures.

Ann you will be missed.

Keith keep up the good work....

3. Cannot look at a photo of that Grand Dame without smiling.
She was infectious and empowering.

May she watch over us still.

4. I hope Lesley stahl re-runs a 60 Minutes piece from years ago
where during an Ann Richards story Lesley was interviewing Molly Ivins about Ann and in the background you see Ann walking fast, waving her hands/arms at Lesley saying, "Don't talk to herrrr....don't talk to herrr, she won't tell you the truth", or something close to those words. Then they all broke up laughing. It was a big laugh.

I took from that story that Molly and ann were friends, so I suspect there will be a nice obituary send off from Molly soon.
