...and usually it takes a while before we understand the complete, evil picture--and how it fits into the perverse BushCo plan.
My husband told me about this funeral last night. I didn't know what to think. I just know that something is not right. It's ironic and it's bizarre.
Are we supposed to believe that a government--which went to great lengths to torture in secret prisons--is meticulously following some kind of sacred rules of engagement when it comes to Al Queda?
Also---why do we know about this incident? We know what they want us to know. This feels staged.
You're probably right, Windy. They want the freedom to act like rabid animals--so they're showcasing absurd situations--to cajole us into granting them a wider berth for committing atrocities.
In a way--this move feels like an extension of the messages conveyed in "The Path to 9/11." I'm convinced that TPT911 was intended to be a powerful springboard from which this administration would cull emotionally-driven support for ANYTHING they want to do in the "war on terror." There were so many scenes in TPT911--that erroneously blamed 9/11 on our Constitution getting in the way. The scenes that showed how Moussoui's computer was inaccessible--because of the laws our government had to follow--were misleading and were designed to leverage Junior's spying.
They didn't get the big bang out of TPT911 that they hoped. However, they're still catapulting the post-TPT911 propaganda as planned, it seems.
You're right Windy--they want to outrage people with staged absurdity. They want everyone screaming, "Screw the rules of engagement for these barbarians! Kill all of them, any way you want and don't look back!" Possibly, they want that attitude accepted in the Iraq theater--and in other wars that they're salivating to start.
Who knows with these revolting thugs...but it sounds like you are probably right. fighting Al Queda.
