Culture is not Cristal
you with words
blooming an ebony
temple in some alabaster
mansion

I want to say something
about landscape
seething in blood
flowing with aching
allure

I want to say something
about family
bursting with love
a pulse of communal
strength

Culture is not denigration

It is not the willful injury
inflicted on your sisters
and mothers

It is not a war perpetrated
on your own fathers
and brothers

Culture is not slinging drugs
smoked, snorted
injected
by your own vulnerable
kind

Culture is not devoid of history
of passion
of love
of identity
of intellect

and reality

Culture is rich
beautiful
interesting

Beyond materialism

Let it permeate your words
pulsating landscapes, community
and people
