Answer for a FW "joke"?
Gimme a hand... I just got this "joke" from a guy I know. He's ignorantly apolitical, but he keeps sending me shit that forwarded to him.

How about a "joke" that I can "Reply All"?

Iranian Ambassador

The Iranian Ambassador to the UN had just finished giving a speech, and
walked out into the lobby where he met President Bush.

They shook hands, and as they walked the Iranian said, "You know, I have
just one question about what I have seen in America."

President Bush said, "Well, anything I can do to help you, I will."

The Iranian whispered "My son watches this show 'Star Trek' and in it
there is Chekhov who is Russian, Scotty who is Scottish, and Sulu who is
Chinese but no Arabs. My son is very upset and doesn't understand why
there aren't any Iranians on Star Trek."

President Bush laughed, leaned toward the Iranian ambassador, and
whispered back, "It's because it takes place in the future."

2. Here's one
How can you tell when you're in the room with an uneducated, ignorant American?

He tells you a joke implying Iranians are arabs.

3. Here's a funny one that's made the rounds
Clocks in Heaven

A man died and went to heaven. As he stood in front of St. Peter at the Pearly Gates, he saw a huge wall of clocks behind him.

He asked, "What are all those clocks?" St. Peter answered, "Those are Lie-Clocks. Everyone on Earth has a Lie-Clock. Every time you lie the hands on your clock will move."

"Oh," said the man, "whose clock is that?"

"That's Mother Teresa's. The hands have never moved, indicating that she never told a lie."

"Incredible," said the man. "And whose clock is that one?"

St. Peter responded, "That's Abraham Lincoln's clock. The hands have moved twice, telling us that Abe told only two lies in his entire life."

"Where's President Bush's clock?" asked the man.

"Bush's clock is in Jesus' office. He's using it as a ceiling fan."

4. I'm pretty sure Khan was a Middle Easterner.
A real Trekkie can confirm or refute, I'm sure.

6. I may be outing myself as a total geek, here...
...But I think you are correct that Khan was a Persian prince of some sort exiled on the Botany Bay.

Then again, I could be wrong... :wtf:

8. Khan Noonien Singh
was one of the genetically enhanced "Augments" engineered by Noonien Soong, who later created Data of STNG, afer his own image. He escaped from Earth in cryo-sleep on the Botany Bay, and was later marooned by Kirk on Alpha Seti 5, a once lush planet that turned into a wasteland after one of the suns of that system went nova. According to Wikipedia, "Khan's background was suspected to be Sikh/Jatt, from the northern region of India (Punjab)."

I looked that last reference up, but the rest I knew by heart. Oh, dear god. I've outgeeked another geek.

10. The name Singh is always a dead giveaway
that someone is a Sikh.

That's the only way I knew. You've filled in the rest for me!

Nahhh, he was a recycled car salesman:

"Rich tribilian leather..."

"I *LIKE* what they've done to my starship!"

5. Kinda sick
But more likely the truth than a joke. Everyone thinks the leaders of NK or Iran will light off a nuke, as a way to leave their mark on their way out, but bush is more likely than any of them to do it.

12. I think the joke would be funnier if it ended with
Bush laughing and saying "It's because this show was made in the future."
