LEESBURG, Fla. - Two weeks after telling police that her son had been snatched from his crib, Melinda Duckett found herself reeling in an interview with CNN’s famously prosecutorial Nancy Grace. Before it was over, Grace was pounding her desk and loudly demanding to know: “Where were you? Why aren’t you telling us where you were that day?”

A day after the taping, Duckett, 21, shot herself to death, deepening the mystery of what happened to the boy

2. I'd never heard of Nancy Grace until recently

My gym shows CNN on some of the TVs there. During that whole Carr thing, she was practically foaming at the mouth. Who the heck gave this nutjob a show?! She doesn't have journalist credentials. All she wants to do is express outrage over some horrid news story-du-jour.

It only makes me more bewildered, however, as to why she's been given a show. She's good at disgusted facial expressions, cutting in on comments, ranting, and wailing over nonsense. That's great TV lately, but not skill.
