Nancy Grace just caused me to have a psychotic break

Okay I confess - sometimes the world we live in is all TOO MUCH for me
and to relax I will read "People" or even watch Nancy Grace,

Yes her head does spin 360 degrees as she chortles with glee over the
weirdnesses and horridness of people other than ther.

John Mark Karr, in her view, needed to die for what he did to Jon Benet Ramsey.
When it turned out he had nothing to do with that murder, Grace acted as if he
still deserved to die, for after all, he did look like a sicko strange enough to
kill this little girl.

Okay Here's the thing - about several weeks ago, I tuned in to her program and
watched her report on a kid who had been abducted from his crib while his mother
watched a video inn her living room with friends.

They interviewed the missing child's mother - who was a Causcasian. I remember
thinking that the woman looked like she was poorly educated, in need of a hair
shampoo. yet I watched her talk, she had the softest and sweetest voice imaginable.
her voice convinced me that she could not have possibly have done anything ot her
child.

She was also Caucasian. Not once did I think, oh this woman is Asian. The woman
had a robust figure and a very full face.

Now tonight I am relaxing in front of the TV and because there is a missing woman
in the city of Oakland, I thought that I would tune into Nancy Grace and see
if she is reporting on it. The missing woman lived not far from where some close
friends of mine once lived.

No Nancy Grace was reporting on the little boy who was taken from the house while his
mother watched videos with friends.

But now the mother is not Caucasian - she is Asian. Clearly Asian - almost delicate
in her figure and her thin face.

So I am stumped. Have they switched mothers on me? Or are there two separate
cases of little boys taken while the moms watched videos with their friends...

I feel even weirder than I did three weeks ago when I first realized that John
Mark Karr was the spitting image of Lee HArvey Oswald - except where Lee was
dark haired with brown eyes, Karr was light haired with blue eyes.

Is anyone on DU able to clue me in to what is going on with this crime case.

2. Well the mother is (was) Asian....she committed suicide after

her interview with Nancy Grace...

The mothers story is a bit bizarre but Nancy pushed her over the edge and now the only person who might know where the child is is dead...May to the child I would have wanted her prosecuted)but now we may never know....Charges should be filed against Nance for tampering with a witness....

You have NO idea why this woman committed suicide, so an interview with N.G. she was not forced to participate in may not be the reason she killed herself.

Statistics show that most kids who disappear are dead within 24 hours. Mom could have been guilty or convinced he'd never rerutn. But you certainly don't know why she killed herself.

She refused a polygraph, which is at least curious.

I never liked her much to start with, but after what she did to Richard Ricci, I've got no use for her at all. I can't imagine how she would be "relaxing" to watch, unless one transfers their hatred of the GOP to whatever target Nancy is hating on for the day. She's just the walking talking epitome of everything this country has become that makes me sick to my stomach.

So anyway, she apparently badgered an Asian mother into committing suicide and I never heard about a caucasian mother.

Nancy Grace thinks I'm guilty, so instead of telling her to go fuck herself, and trying to find my child, I'll just kill myself. Good idea.

My child's missing. I've seen the police railroad people previously and know that the parent is the first suspect. I know I'm an anxious person and that polygraphs aren't always accurate. I know I'm innocent, so no, I'm not going to take the polygraph because I believe they'll find my child soon.

I go on some talk show to try to bring attention to my child's case and instead of help I'm badgered and berated. I look at the Ramseys and know that it will never end. My child is dead, my life is over, I'm going to be hounded forever - why live?

You damned right I blame Nancy Grace, that woman doesn't deserve to be in polite society let alone on the airwaves.

Next to Glenn Beck, Grace is about as pathetic. I won't say she caused that woman to kill herself, but boy did she give a helping hand. Grace aired the show, after the mother killed herself.

It's a very interesting and sad story. There is, of course, much more to it than what was probably (I didn't see it to know for sure) shown on Nancy Grace, and what is being speculated on these message boards by people who know nothing about the case.

And you're right, the mother in this case is Asian -- fully Asian, not vaguely Asian. She was adopted by a white family, and her estranged husband is also white, so it could be confusing.

However no one has addressed my initial plea.

I finally had my husband corroborate that yes, the first time we wtached the NG show
some weeks ago, there was a couple whose son had been kidnapped. With the screen being
torn. the couple was in the process of getting a divorce. And the mother was filmed
on camera - talking about her son's personality - howoutgoing he is.

But tjhe mother was Caucasian - honest. Not somewhat Caucsion. Definitely not Asian.

Differnet body typoe. Needed to lose some weight.

Now the mother is Asian. A different person. Also a differnet house is being shown.

So are they switching the reality of this particular case around?

Or are there two separate cases. And iftthere ARE INDEED two separate cases, then why
wouldn't Nancy Grace say soimething like - "This Leesburg Florida case is so close
in circumstance to the other case we had recently - here another little boy was taken
from his crib while the mom watched a video with two friends inthe living room..."

Maybe that can help your search. I doubt it's the same case, as Trenton only went missing the last weekend in August. So if you were watching before 8/27 or so, it wouldn't have been about him.
