I'm actually wiping away tears as a write this. She was such a class act. I always tried to catch any talk show she was on. I was surprised that she was only 73.

I had the pleasure of hearing her speak back in 1996 in Indianapolis. It was so amazing to see such a tiny lady with so much charisma. I just loved her!!

My sympathies go out to the Richards family as well as to all of our Texans here at DU. Her passing is a death in our family, too.
