I'd watch Meredith over Katie any day! I'll bet she does a great job.

I thought she did well and I liked her chemistry with Matt. :-)

3. She was alright, had a few flubs and seemed nervous

My husband thinks she is Katie 2.0. I think her voice is a bit lower and more serious sounding, but she kindof looks like Katie and I can definitely see what he's talking about. I think the good part was seeing how Matt interacted with her. I have sortof a love/hate relationship with him, he can be so charming and enlightened and then suddenly become a MSM shill. I wish they had let Ann Curry take over for Katie, she is intelligent, interesting and beautiful, but not in the same mold as Katie/Meridith. Plus I am a bit biased because Ann is an Oregonian like me.

She is also a good, serious journalist.

She is perfect for this job.

7. I didn't see it, but I am a long time Meredith Viera fan

She has a long and illustrious history of her own. I used to really really enjoy her as a local news anchor in Rhode Island. She has had an interesting life and made some choices that sacrificed career for family. There is nothing about her that I don't admire.
