Mother of Missing Boy Commits Suicide
Two weeks after telling police that her son had been snatched from his crib, Melinda Duckett found herself reeling in an interview with TV's famously prosecutorial Nancy Grace. Before it was over, Grace was pounding her desk and loudly demanding to know: "Where were you? Why aren't you telling us where you were that day?"

A day after the taping, Duckett, 21, shot herself to death, deepening the mystery of what happened to the boy.

Way to go Nancy Grace. Are you proud of yourself now?! Oh, and what's that you said that you wished John Mark Karr should've burned to death as a baby? Oh, share the love Nancy, share the love and compassion.

1. DisGrace is a blight on the airwaves.

Her righteous outrage schtick has worn pretty damned thin and it's time she was moved to a secure facility where she can rant and froth without harming anyone else.

2. Jenny Jones got sued...
Nancy Grace should get the same, if not criminal charges...

7. Well, according to Nancy Grace, everyone is guilty until proven innocent.
Also, after an interview with Howard Stern, Dana Plato, (the girl on Different Strokes who was in constant trouble), OD'd on drugs. Her loving boyfriend at the time, recorded her last breaths instead of calling 911.

Dana and her boyfriend were living in HER RV in front of her mother's house. Her son was being raised by Dana's mother. I think the boy's father was sharing custody of him with Dana's mother for a time. Dana never could get custody of her own child due to drugs, prostitution, etc. After Dana OD'd, her boyfriend started selling tapes of her dying (audio), her actual last breaths. He was selling them but stated he was doing it in her honor for $19.95. Yeah right!

Dana's son sued him for his mother's RV (being the only thing she owned), but I cannot remember if the boy and his grandmother were able to get his mother's property from the deadbeat of a boyfriend of hers or not.

Anyway, Stern and the people calling in on the show had Dana literally crying during her interview. Calling her names and making her feel less then human. Must have been all Republican (LOL, YUCK, YUCK, YUCK, lol).

I don't know if anyone sued Stern or not. As for Jenny Jones, did she lose and have to pay a settlement? I cannot remember.

How can this broad live with herself? Does she feel that someone dying is worth a point or two in ratings? I hope she's haunted by this.. How horrible...

4. She probably feels vindicated.
"She killed herself so she's unquestionably guilty."

While flipping channels. That was all I could stomach of that screaming head.

12. She's contributory to a suicide, but her producer will press on...

unrelentingly:

Janine Iamunno, a spokeswoman for Grace, said in an e-mail that Duckett's death was "an extremely sad development," but that the program would continue covering the case.

"We feel a responsibility to bring attention to this case in the hopes of helping find Trenton Duckett, who remains missing," Iamunno said.

Gloss over it all you want, Janine. Responsibility? You and Nancy don't know the MEANING of the word!

I don't watch Nancy Grace, I never have and I never will; all I know about her is what I hear about her on DU, and what I see in this article, and it's more than enough. She made herself the Grand Inquisitor in this one - a woman is dead - and this harpy* Nancy Grace shouldn't be left in her position on camera.

To put it bluntly -- who the FUCK does she think she IS? She's not a police officer, she's not a district attorney, she's goddamned on-air "talent", that's all. She's got no business making demands of anyone as regards possible criminal cases. What a fucking bitch. I hope someone sues her ass into the next century.

:nuke:

*yes, harpy: part woman, part bird (in this case, vulture)

14. There are so many reasons unrelated to this story that she should be fired
for. How many more people would have died if she was around during the Salem witch trials? Nancy Grace and her quieter counter part Greta Van Sustern have a special place in hell.
