What are your expectations if the Dems are successful in November?

I would very much like to see Chimpy impeached and punished for his doings. The Reupkes were willing to do it but I don't know about the Dems...

The Dems have to unite under Iraqi troop withdrawal. I think they will eventually.

So ordinarily I would be extremely optimistic but I've been burned in the past so I'm somewhat optimistic now.

1. All I can say is the Dem's have about 16 months to make a difference

before the 08 election cycle kicks in high gear.

If they are to win in 08, they had better kick ass if they gain control of Congress this year.

4. If this Criminal Administration allows this Fall's election to run

as scheduled, I believe in my heart and soul that the Democrats will win back The House for sure ... and just perhaps The Senate.

11. I doubt

a bunch of rich people will ever do anything that benefits anyone or anything other than their wallets and that includes both democrats and republicans. Maybe I'm just feeling a bit low today, but we need a government by the people not by rich congressmen and women who benefit from a stock market that is rigged and corporate dominance. The iraq war is all about profiting from someone else's resources and maintaining the american dollar as the sole currency for purchasing oil.

Now I'd like to believe the dems would move to impeach, withdraw from iraq and do something to clean up the corrupt corporate lobbying machine that is in the way of true democracy here in our country, but the past seven years have weighed so heavily upon me that I have little faith in anything anymore. I'll still vote democratic with the tiny sliver of hope I have left, but since so many dems supported the stupid war in iraq and have signed off on so many of the current administration's policies I'm not gonna be surprised if nothing changes much.

we need to hold those accountable by voting them out to their next Democratic Primary challenger. ;) We need to keep notes and not forget when they are up for re-election.

Our representatives need to know that their re-election is not automatic if they do not put the interests of The Average Working American first and foremost! That definitely includes protecting Our Civil Liberties against a wannabe Dictator and his Criminal Cabal. :grr:

17. I would hope for a real investigation into 9/11

Put both Bush and Cheney under oath this time and ask:

1) Bush about his business dealings with the bin-Laden family going back several decades;
2) Bush about why he did nothing when told about the attacks;
3) Bush about letting OBL's siblings fly out of US when all commercial aircraft was grounded and before they could be questioned by FBI, CIA, etc.
4) Bush why he didn't consider Saudi Arabia to be a terrorist nation, even when 15 of the 17 attackers carried Saudi passports;
5) Cheney about his company's dealings with Saddam during the 1990s;
6) Cheney about the no-bid contracts for Halliburton;
7) Cheney about who outed Plame;
8) Cheney about why Bush can't answer questions for himself.

I would really love to hear the answers to these questions...
