This is so insulting, so outrageous. I hope our Democrats are waking up to what they are failing to address. How dare he do this. How dare the party leaders let him continue this by holding out the carrot that he can keep his seniority and leadership positions.

When it takes money from Republicans, takes support from them, and when it attacks fellow Democrats who beat them honestly in a primary, when it talks like a Republican...then you know the rest. Where will his loyalties lie if he wins? Do you take someone's word for that when support is mostly from the other party?

From Joe's campaign website: The Full Lamonty

http://www.joe2006.com/FLblog.asp

Looks like it is an expose section against Lamont. Started yesterday. Shame on you, Joe.

Now, I have taken a deep breath and am ready for all the excuses for Joe:

1. But he has a right to run as an independent. (Well, sure, so does anyone anywhere. Sure enough, he does have the right)

2. But when you are running a campaign, it is ok to attack your opponent.
(Sure,it is.)

I could go on, but it does not matter. It is time for Democratic leaders to stand up just like Carter did today....and say enough is enough, Joe.

1. "Woe-mentum" is surreal.
He's running as an Independent against the Democratic candidate who won the Democratic primary with a campaign infused with Republican money and endorsements, yet insists on being recognized as a Democrat. Got that? Me neither!

The sooner Lieberman is yesterday's news, the better.

3. The Democrats really do need to deal with Lieberman. And NOW.
Before it's too late. By not taking care of this, they are performing a disservice to their true candidate, the one voters clearly said they wanted in the primary.

Joe Lieberman: GOP Kiss-Ass.

5. Remind me again... when it was the Dems last actually "took care
of a problem"?

Election fraud? Right, took care of that.

Swift-boaters? Right, took very good care of that.

The list goes on.

As they say, "Denial ain't just a river....."

6. And we wonder why the GOP is in charge of everything.
I'm surprised they'd even have to fix the voting machines, it seems the Dems are determined to just *GIVE* the country away to the Nazis.

" Outside the Hartford Armory, three Connecticut veterans directly challenged Ned Lamont’s many inconsistent and conflicting positions on Iraq troop withdrawal."
