now to wallow some more. God help if Hastert decides to sing again. Bin Laden and the database must be sitting over there laughing their asses off at us. Watch the House fall all all over itself trying to out patriotic each other.

Hastert is done bumbling his way through his statement. A Dem is up (Thompsono-MS) asking about how this resolution makes the nation safer.

Now Pascrell from NJ up saying that there is no Dem or MMC way of commemorating 9/11. Calling BS on the MMC.

8. King saying that Dems don't have to agree with every point on the
bill to vote for it...they've done it before so why are they objecting now along party lines.

I hate to say it, but he has a point. There are times when they should have stood firmly on party lines and didn't.
