Bush Gives Visas to 15,000 Saudi Wahabis
Edited on Wed Sep-13-06 07:48 AM by Montagnard
Holy Shit! Seems like we had a bit of trouble in September of 2001 when he gave visas to some Saudi Students wanting to learn how to fly an airliner.

28. Dobbs will come up with some excuse to not blame the GoP
he will blame Bush, of course, but he will find a way to say that just as much blame belongs to liberals and Democrats.

7. Considering that we were told 14 hijackers were Saudi,
is this really a smart thing to do for our country... The Saudis hate us, they call us dogs in their schoolbooks....

15. And Wahhabism is the sect behind al-Qaida and the Taliban
Every mosque and Islamic center around the world that has ties to Islamic extremism has been very heavily funded by the Saudi government. Those mosques and centers that have no ties to Islamic extremism or which have actively spoken out against extremism, have received very little money. And yes, Wahhabi Islam is the state religion of Saudi Arabia.

21. Still not all Saudis are extremists
Edited on Wed Sep-13-06 10:37 AM by rman
Same as not all christians are extremists.

In fact, in both cases most are not extremist.

One thing is certain: Saudi royalty/government is extremist for having instituted a mandatory state religion, and an extremist religion at that.

25. Not all Saudis are Wahhabists
There are fairly sizable minorities of both Shi'ites and Christians in Saudi Arabia. Yes, they are sometimes persecuted, but that is occurring on a less frequent basis as the House of Saud tries to move the country away from Wahhabism. Just thought I would correct your blanket statement:hi:

30. All one can go with is history.....
and history is that most of the hijackers on 9/11 were Saudis. I know that is summing over, but we humans sum over because it was important to know if the flash of orange in the jungle was something to eat or something that would eat you.

9. This needs to be loudly denounced as much as....
...the UAE port security deal. In his pathetic speech on Monday, Little Monkey said that the terrorists were from several different countries. What he failed to mention was that 15 of the 19 murderers were from his (and Dick "Fucking" Cheney) favorite petro-autotheocracy Saudi Arabia. Now the administration is going to give 15,000 student visas to fully indoctrinated Wahabists whose sole criteria for one of these "scholarships" is a minimum B average with one exception, an A in Islam.

Let's run the numbers as if this is a military exercise. 15,000 fully indoctrinated troops equals 1 combat division. We know that the organization of terror cells gives a great deal of autonomy and latitude to the small cell structure. Finally, these cells will be dispersed to 48 states in CONUS. Isn't this a formula for disaster?

Way to go, Little Monkey, you've fucked the nation again. I can't wait until you are forceably removed from power and sent to prison along with your whole criminal cabal.

11. I was thinking along the same lines.
A division of Wahabis coming in at Kennedy...doesnt make a lot of sense. I seem to remember Bush lost track of 15 Arab students just a couple weeks back...had now idea where they were and what they were doing. Luckily they were sight seeing.

19. Thanks...
...but it gives me no pleasure to have to point it out. There are two conclusions I draw from such a decision: these people are absolutely some of the dumbest motherfuckers on the planet or they are intentionally allowing this to happen because they are the most evil, vile motherfuckers on the planet.

33. I submit for your consideration that...
this could possibly be an effort to facilitate another "new Pearl Harbor event." Thus causing the need for marshal law. This is crazy! What could possibly be another motive that makes sense? Lou Dobbs or Keith O. should be screaming about this! This is an outrage!
These are the wrong people to allow into this country IMPOA!

16. Am I missing something..does the article say they need
"a minimum B average with one exception, an A in Islam."?

Great post, by the way.

Wonder how many of these 15,000 will study "industrial engineering".."nuclear engineering"..or our shared specialty, aviation.

Seems to me it is the liberal universities who are spearheading this.

Afterall someone has to pay for their cushy jobs and wood paneled offices.

Where was the NEA and other teachers associations on this one - where was the State Department - multicultural has only served to Balkanize not unite.

Call your elected and complain loudly....keep the heat on them - don't assume this was a Bush decision.

I guess they don't remember the interview with the INS agent after 9/11--when he stated that this administration wanted INS to give those coming from SA a pass-hardly no screening. Yeah, but hey, it's all Clinton's fault. It's not Clinton who is in bed with the Saudis!!!!:eyes:

27. While I was putting on my tin foil hat this morning, a thought came to me.
what if, moron* in his* moron like ways, doesn't want the country to actually be safe. That he's* doing his* best to bring on another attack.

since he* and his* room full of dopes rule by fear, another attack, in their minds would boost their stock.

I know, there is no rational logic to this thought, but given all we know about moron* and the way he* thinks, whould this really be all that surprising?

34. it'd be a good excuse for more clamping down, but would ruin
their dumbass argument that "no attacks have happened since 9/11, therefore we are safer under *"
But it'd be too late for the simple-minded ones to stir from their kool aid-induced mass stupor b/c we'd be under martial law by then.
Lou Dobbs, Keith Olberman -- hey, what about the wingnuts themselves? What does O'Lielly think of this? How about Neal Boortz and Glenn Beck? The Dubai ports deal had a way of uniting We The People like nothing else, I suspect this might work the same way.
