Just TRY to convince some folks that we're NOT at War.
bush is always harping about America being at war, but we aren't. Look around you, we are not at war. There are no daily air raids, we are not collecting rubber and metal for the war effort, we are not volunteering en masse, we are not doing anything we weren't doing already 6 years ago.

War was never declared, never approved, never sanctioned by we the people, yet to hear the neocons we are in the middle to ww5 or 6.

The 'we're at war' excuse is used for literally every bushco crime, we need this cause we're at war, we need that cause we're at war, bullshit.

This ain't war. I've read the history books, I know what the hell a war is, and this ain't one. Call it what you will, phrase it however you like, but the fact remains, we are not at war at all.

6. heard a comment on NPR
about Vietnam on the way home the other day. "we didn't go to war in Vietnam - we sent our Army". I believe the same holds true today.

7. Americans make me sick saying that - none of them are suffering
or sacrificing or really in danger except the military.
