Oh, oh, oh,....and SUDDENLY, OBL's 9/11 tape is released as CIF makes rounds to perpetuate the profiteering venture of the "rulers over resources".

All just coincindinky thingys,...I'm sure. :eyes:

It seems they no longer care to OPENLY humiliate their own people anymore. It's like, "Hey, look how I can convince 'my people' that shit smells like roses. It's sooooooo easy."

:grr:

7. The GOP has manipulated oil priices throughout this misadministration
Edited on Wed Sep-13-06 03:34 AM by liberaldemocrat7
We should accuse this misadministration of manipulating oil and gas prices.

Who doesn't find it surprising that the GOP has lowered prices 60 days before an election.

So they stopped hammering people however the damage has gotten done to people's wallets.

People don't appear that stupid that just because the GOP has lowered the price that
people will vote for them.

This lowering of the gasoline prices appears too little too late and the price will go up after the election.

The GOP has used war, terror, and gasoline as political tools to keep themselves in power.

However their empire will turn back to sand this November.

14. Ohio is SUDDENLY the cheapest gas in the US
We are below $2.15 in our area of Ohio as well, and I fully expect it to be below $2.00 before election day (say around $1.75, maybe less)

The talk in the grocery store line yesterday about cheaper gas (you know, that rush hour grocery rush where there are at least 5 people waiting in each line, about 4 lines open), unilaterally, was "it is an election year." Perfect strangers talking to each other about when their grocery store gas credits may earn them absolute free gas.

NO ONE IS FOOLED BY THIS SHIT! No one. Five-year olds get it.

5. It's just under 2.50 here.
This will remove gas prices as a millstone around Republican necks.

11. Totalitarian Nations take no care to hide corruptionj & criminality
Did you expect Imperial Amerika, even at this early stage of transition from freedom to tyranny (OK, it's not so early anymore) to be any different?

Of course the Busheviks openly perform their misdeeds. They know they have NOTHING to fear.

Is this what it must have felt like in Nazi Germany? A little bit, but the immediate physical danger of brutality and racism is not present...for now.

12. I have to move........
we're still paying $2.92 a gallon here in upstate New York. I'm sick and tired of always being on the ass-end of fuel price reductions. Hopefully, when Eliot Spitzer in elected Governor this fall, he'll put a stop to the gouging of New Yorkers.

18. Dropped another 3 cents overnight in KC to 2.26.
Now crude is dropping too, althought its still in the 60s, not enough to justify this in my opinion.

This is a great time to get into oil stocks if you haven't had a chance yet.

20. These dropping gas prices lead me to wonder about two things.
1. The Republicans, in collusion with Big Oil, are trying to buy votes for November. I wonder who will vote against their greater self-interest for saving themselves 30 pieces of silver at the gas pump?

2. We've been gouged all along, despite the apologists for Big Oil saying we weren't.

Last year, we were told it was "market demand" and China's and India's need for more oil that drove prices through the roof. Have China and India lessened their consumption? No.

Have we suddenly had a myriad of refineries built in this country overnight? No. But last year, the apologists said we didn't have enough refining capacity to bring down the price of gas to meet our demand.

Did Americans curtail their driving habits this summer to help bring down gas prices? No. We drove just as much as before.

Furthermore, why would BP's recent pipeline problems in Alaska lead to a drop in gas prices? That just doesn't make sense. And yet, BP stations around Pittsburgh, where I live, have gas prices down to around $2.27 to $2.39 as of yesterday.

We were gouged. And now those companies that did it to us are sitting back for a few months to sell gas at a lower cost to help their Republican lapdogs remain in office.
