How long was it between 1993 and 2001?

The Repukes claim we are safer because there have been no further terrorist attacks on US soil. But, how long was it between the WTC bombing attempt in 1993 and 9/11, 2001? al Qaeda takes years to plan their attacks. Just because there hasn't been one yet doesn't mean there won't be another one. al Qaeda is very patient.

And the experts tell us we are no safer than we were.
