Edited on Wed Sep-13-06 07:19 AM by OwnedByFerrets
Progressives all the time and lives under the "flag", especially after 911? I thought it was him, but obviously I was wrong.

According to the never wrong Wikipedia :sarcasm: "Keith considers himself "a conservative Democrat who is sometimes embarrassed for his party." He endorsed the re-election of President George W. Bush in 2004 and performed at a Dallas rally on the night before the election"

Sorry, but that is enough for me NOT to like him, but thats just me. If others like him, who am I to rain on their parade.

8. I'm with you on this
He's the perfect Okie, meaning so many here register as a Democrat so they can vote in the primaries to select the lesser of the two while voting for the re:puke:'s on election day. I see it all the time, in fact I know more pseudo Democrats than true re:puke:s, hence our local elections always goes Dem while on a state or federal level it is mostly re:puke:s:shrug:

13. toby keith was railing
against The Dixie Chicks..so that's enough for me to know about him.

Sounds like he's an arrogant sob just like his hero, ta dah~ The chimp!

Snip~

"It was another in a series of flaps for Keith. In June 2002, he slammed ABC's Peter Jennings after the anchor nixed Keith's performing, on a Fourth of July special, "Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue", the terrorist-baiting hit that explained exactly where America would plant a victorious "boot" in the "body" of the Taliban. Natalie Maines of the Dixie Chicks said the song "makes country music sound ignorant. Anybody can write, 'We'll put a boot in your ass.' " Keith shot back: "You've got to be in my league as a songwriter before I'll even respond to you." A feud ensued."

More..
http://www.usaweekend.com/03_issues/031102/031102toby_keith.html

And here's the latest on what The Chicks are up to at the Toronto Film Festival..namely what Natalie Maines has to say about the fascist chimp.

7. He may be a Democrat
but he's a war supporting Democrat.

I thought it was a pretty decent interview.
I'm glad Colbert didn't bring up all of the crap with the Chicks.

12. Colbert interviewd Toby Keith last nite
and pretty much let him off the hook. It was one of his weaker interviews. And trust me when I say, " I Love Colbert".

17. I had an intense desire to kick Toby right in the crotch.
The shitty comments that he made about Willie Nelson, who by having that piece of ungrateful shit touring with him probably did a lot to get that (fill in many filty words here) started in his career.

Come to think of it, now I'm made at Nelson.

20. A swipe at the legendary Willie Nelson
says more about the tiny mind of toby keith than anything.

Maybe Colbert gave him a enough rope?

does a story - any story - about online life.
