ABC Vote: Should Bush Have Used Part of his 9/11 Speech to Talk About Iraq

http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/popup?id=2424333

In President Bush's address to the nation on the fifth anniversary of 9/11, he used part of his time to defend his policies in Iraq. Was this the appropriate occasion to bring up politics?

Should Bush Have Used Part of his 9/11 Speech to Talk About Iraq?

No. Our thoughts on the fifth anniversary should have been remembering the events of 9/11.

Yes. Sept. 11 provided the momentum for our country to enter Iraq. They are related.558

Indifferent. Bush had the right balance on politics.179

1. "Momentum"????
That's what they're reduced to now?

At least that's a more honest pick, although the 'They are related' is total BS.

8. After ABC aired the propaganda piece "Path to 9/11" I will no longer
view their network, visit their website, nor support any entity that ABC/Disney has a financial or ownership interest in. Sorry I can't participate in the poll, but I do not want to inflate their ad impressions ($$$$$) by visiting their site.

I don't see how this question even matters. Anything that comes out of Bush's mouth is shit anyway. Why should it matter which load of crap he spews?

this poll, now I have to go wash my hands. I will vote in their polls, but will never go there for any other reason. This post may or may not be true and may be time compressed, go figure.

19. I refuse to answer.
I would like to say indifferent, but if somebody at the network that gave us Path to 9/11 is going to put words in my mouth like like "Bush had the right balance on politics" then please tell Mr. Iger and his toy television network to cram it where the Sun doesn't shine.

I'm indifferent because Bush has a right to say what he damn pleases under the First Amendment, not because he has the right balance on politics or because there was some real relationship between the Saddam regime and the September 11 attacks.

And ABC has a responsibility on its network news program to point out that the speech was every bit as political as impugning the patriotism of his opposition and that every reason given for invading Iraq, including that Saddam's regime was associated in some way with the September 11 attacks, has turned out to be a lie.
