2. I am curious. Why do those envelopes not have stamps?
They are postmarked, but it looks like the envelope has an image, not a stamp, on it.

3. You can buy envelopes with postage like this on it from the USPS
Also, postal meters can have the postage AND and image print right on the envelope.

4. I suspect
The envelopes were purchased at a post office. They come with the postage stamp printed on them.

Peace.

14. Uh, did anyone happen to look at the post offices in NJ...
and get the surveillance tapes of people buying these envelopes? Then you could put their faces up, saying that they may have had involvement or saw something peculiar. Then once most of them have been interviewed you could narrow it down to a select group. Try and find out who those people were, and then you could look to see if any of them had experience working with anthrax. (Or maybe all of this happened and I just didn't hear about it.)

7. And the genetic evidence is like a name tag that says ...
"Property of the United States Government"

Yet the only explanation have after 5years is a vague accusation against an employee that has no real proof behind it.

8. Just pretend that the pResident will protect us!
It's all a game of make pretend. Name one thing that they have solved, one thing that they have made better. No making the rich richer does not count. Failed to catch Bin Forgotten, failed to rebuild at Trade Center site, failed to catch anthrax terrorist, failed to respond to Katrina, failed to rebuild in NOLA. I'm sure there are many more failures but I'm to disgusted to think straight! Karma can't come to soon to those cold hearted, dangerous thugs! (rant off)

No FOX news anthrax scare? That's interesting....

But not surprising. That's when the "Don't step out of line" threats began....

12. Thanks for posting this.
There is something peculiar about the "G" in Great. I don't know Muslim script, is there anything in Arabic writing that looks like this "G?" If not, I can't help thinking that if the Anthrax was sent by an American, then one thing I'd throw in that may not have been considered before, is that someone may have made a child write it so that the handwriting could never be matched. Especially over time. I know the FBI claimed it was written by someone over 50 because that's the way our education system taught how to write those letters, but I disagree. I think some schools, especially private schools, are big on teaching children traditional methods. The "G" reminds me of how a little girl might try to cutsy up letters. I think that's the key.

13. Wrong --- Postmarks are Oct 9 and 10
Received October 12, 2001

On October 12 Brokaw turned over an anthrax letter, postmarked in Trenton, New Jersey, to the FBI. The CDC never examined it. Dr. Mitchell Cohen, the CDC's director of bacterial diseases and liaison to the FBI for anthrax issues, says he saw only photographs of it...

due to the error. (too late to edit) Y'all are correct that the PM dates are 9/18 & 10/9.

Watch for my reposts of this on those dates.

Please accept my apologies. I got the date info from another (obviously confused) site.
