9/11 commissioner wants to know why they've ignored so many
of the 9/11 commission's recommendations.

Let me propose a couple of theories. They've ignored the recommendations because

1. The recommendations cost money and this country is infested with cheapskates, tightwads, and misers.

2. Lip service is easier than actually living up to responsibilities. Looking pious and building monuments is easier than actually walking the walk and building real plans to capture those reponsible for the attack. George Bush is the number 1 exhibit.

3. In spite of what they say about stem cell, abortion, and other "right to life" causes, they really believe that life is cheap. Therefore they're willing to allow people to lose their lives in Iraq and Afghanistan with bad military planning due to lack of adequate man power as recommended by the generals, with inadequate armor, and without adequate support in order to secure someone else's oil fields.

Their values, not ours.

1. They're appeasing the terrorists
Osama hits the WTC on 9/11 because he hated our troops on Arabian soil... Bush capitulates and removes our troops.

Why is this different?

2. Because its takes a while to come up with so many slogans
they can feed to Americans to make them believe the administration is actually doing any thing.

3. One guess: They need the inadequacies for their fear campaign
If they enacted all the recommendations of the 9/11 commission, they would possibly loose a tool for election time "FEAR."

4. What, and divert all that lovely money from their Endless War?
Not on your life. There's too many people getting rich and richer off their WOT...people they use to stay in power.

5. And number 4.
They haven't got their orders from Exxon and Halliburton yet.
