Only in St. Charles County, MO would you see this...*WOW* freep insanity
Edited on Tue Sep-12-06 01:33 AM by The Anti-Neo Con
OK, so I'm kicking myself for not having my camera in the car with me, but I'll describe what I witnessed on the road tonight. I was driving north on route K, and got behind this black Chevy Tahoe. I noticed that it had two pretty big homemade bumperstickers, actually they were quite large, so I'll call them banners.

The top one said "Remember 9-11" and had artwork of the Statue of Liberty, the American flag, and a fireman's helmet. I was OK with that banner, but the one below REALLY offended me. The banner below it read "Support the President you liberal fags." This banner had some "artwork" on it too. It had a circle & slash drawn through a rainbow flag, a circle & slash drawn through "Hillary Clinton," and a circle and slash drawn through "sand niggers." I was so pissed at this that I caught up & got beside them just so I could give them the finger. It was a very elderly looking couple driving, but I didn't feel bad considering the hateful garbage they had put up on their vehicle. There was a lot of traffic around, but it seemed like I was the only person offended. I'm sure they were getting a lot of thumbs up, etc. in facist St. Charles County though. I'm not sure why they were calling people "liberal fags," maybe they were driving through some certain areas of St. Louis city that are progressive.

That is the most shocking display of hate & racism I've ever seen from freeps in person. It sucks that 9/11 brings out the worst in some of them.

1. Sometimes hatred is all they have in life
How sad. Maybe if they cared about the poor and Christ's dictates they wouldn't be so empty.

2. When I see that sort of thing, I'm always tempted to...
add another sticker.

Maybe...

"Without "sand niggers" there wouldn't be any gas for this big piece of shit."

3. don't let your anger show.
point and laugh. that will get to them more than anger will. they expect you to be angry, they don't expect to be laughed at.

4. don't go thinking you have exclusivity on 'em inmissouri. there's plenty
of 'em to go around. i'm leaving to go back to alabama to visit old friends and family and believe me, there's no shortage there. but by the same token i wouldn't hafta look too hard to find some travelling companions for your elderly couple here in oregon or down in california. it's a sad fact of life that hatred is everywhere.

5. These hate-filled bigots were always there
It's just that Bush** has validated them and made them feel they're "the mainstream". That's one of many things I will never, ever forgive him and the Republicans for -- encouraging the worst of human filth in our society to display their hate like a badge of honor.

I'd probably flip them off too. But what's the point? It's exactly what they want, to know they're riling people. They live to hate.

I can't wait till we have rational people in government again who'll kick these pieces of trash back into the gutter where they belong.

8. Please Don't Paint The Morgans In With That St Charles Co Crowd!
Sarah Morgan was the sister of one my ancestors and the mother of Daniel Morgan Boone. The 1881 History of Champaign County (Ohio) had this to say about my ancestor: "He was a member of the Society of Friends, whose principles would forbid his taking an active part in that contest, and many of his descendants still adhere to those principles, opposed to war and slavery. Though living in the midst of slavery, neither he nor any of his family ever held property rights in a human being."

9. I pray these people take a wrong turn....
...of off I-70 into North St. Louis some night. Or maybe onto St. Clair Avenue coming off of I-64. There's no on-ramp for them to get back onto the highway after that (as I discovered one night), so they'd pretty much be stuck just driving right down the middle of East St. Louis.

It's not realistic to hope they'd ever take a ride on the MetroLink.

12. I agree.
I think they probably wouldn't make it out of that area of the city with a banner like that on their car. lol
