Shrub's historical legacy will be as one of the worst presidents, if not
THE worst, in the history of the nation.

He presided over the two of the biggest cataclysms in U.S. history in recent decades, and utterly failed to do ANYTHING effective to prevent, manage, or recover from them.

Furthermore, he cynically used the first cataclysm to bully and stampede the nation into war, squandered hundreds of billions in treasure, untold lives, and all of the international good will that we had in a few short years on a disastrous, immoral military misadventure we had no business ever starting.

All of the spin, all of the attack ads, all of the swiftboating and demonizing of Democrats, all of the vote suppression and Diebolding can't change that. Even if the Republicans hold onto their precious majorities in November, and a dozen Novembers after that.

All the speechifying, fake documentaries, RW hate radio, fake spam clone emails, Rove appearances at Republican rubber chicken dinners are powerless to alter the plain historical fact.

3. I have a shirt that says "worst president ever" & I wear it all the time.
5.5 years into his presidency let me cite some "accomplishments:
- attacked after he was warned.
- responds against the wrong enemy.
- huge hole in the middle of Manhattan.
- big city missing on the Gulf. Smaller cities also.
- Huge, huge national debt.
As with most here I could go on. But let me add something on the good side:
- gets 9 full hours of sleep at night.
- usually vacations 6 - 8 weeks per year including all Augusts
- Good physical shape.

6. His legacy
ought to be that of the worst criminal in world history since Nuremberg.

Admittedly, I loathe what he's done to this country so much, impulsively, I'd like him to be scrubbed from history altogether- but then, I really want him to go down as the malevolent SOB he really is.
