You know, when I was a kid I wanted to be a cowboy, or a soldier . . .
. . . just like on television.

When I hear the stories of those New York firemen . . . the ones who raced into the towers and perished with all of the rest . . . they set the standard for defining heroes, with their selfless acts of humanity and courage.

2. Its true. It really takes something to risk your life saving others,
rather than while being in war. I think fireman who die like that should recieve all the honors soldiers do.

3. And that so many of the survivors are suffering respiratory illnesses
that are severely debilitating as a result after they were lied to by the EPA is an enormous and insufferable blemish on our country and our long lost presumed integrity.

4. bigtree, I just saw Hillary Clinton on MSNBC putting into words
what I feel. She spoke of the magnificent job the firefighters did and was so very eloquent. I hope you got to see this. And it made Hillary a lot more human to me.

6. Big ups to fire, rescue, and police services.
Putting your life on the line for another takes a special person.
