God Damnit, Keith!
You just set the bar high. That was the most powerful piece of oratory I have heard in years. It brought me to tears.

Thank you for a breath of sanity.

1. WOW. WOW. WOW. WOW. I fear for his .....
life and job.

That was beautiful and don't ask me to repeat it because it was FAR TO MUCH FOR MY MIND TO DIGEST AND REPEAT...but trust me...
It was beautiful!

OMG!

I tried to tell my husband, but words cannot be found.

I'm going to tape it at 11:00.

It will repeat later tonight.

Hope you can catch it!

Sounds like the rest of his newscast was well-worth watching, also.

I'm assuming because you're in the same time zone as I am, so will you,(on MSNBC) Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but believe me, it's worth staying up for. I held my breath through most of it, savoring every word, and crying at the same time. GOD BLESS K.O.!!!O8) :bounce:  :yourock: :woohoo: :applause: :patriot: :loveya:

50. I'm sure he's too humble to think so
but the Name Olberman may indeed become said in the same breath as Murrow and Cronkite someday. If shit continues to go south in this country he'll be remembered as one of very few voices brave enough to speak the truth in media.

But you're right. I don't know how long they will let him go on like this. Joe and Tweety looked extremely nervous when the picture switched to them.

46. That was remarkable, and he quoted Rod Serling
From The Monsters are Due on Maple Street, my favorite Twilight Zone episode.

Closing Narration
"The tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs and explosions and fallout. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, prejudices, to be found only in the minds of men. For the record, prejudices can kill and suspicion can destroy, and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all of its own..."

Fantastic fire and brimstone editorial.

Good night and good luck Mr. Olbermann...
