Edited on Mon Sep-11-06 05:57 PM by question everything
- the entry to the gas chambers in Auschwitz, with a bar of soap, waiting for the Zyklon B "shower" to start

- land in Normandy Beach, being shot at and drowned

- fight in Maginot Line

- Die in the Death March from Bataan

It is one thing to retell the story of the 9/11 attack with video archives.

But when I heard that guy who replaced Darin Kagan (I know that I am butchering her name, never did get it right) that we were invited to go to CNN online to "relive" these events, it just sounded very strange..

1. NItpick. The name of the gas was Zyklon B
It's original purpose was as an industrial pesticide.

Of course to the Nazis, "Pest control" meant something entirely different :(

3. In another war there was "Remember the Maine!"
which was also a bunch of media/government crapola to drag our asses into a conflict.
