3. I was becoming a little calmer.
Then this crapudrama came along, and it was like a time machine took me back to that black hole of rage I felt 5 years ago.

20. Yep, we are. I just can't excuse the utter negligence of our sheeple.
I am so disgusted with the population of this country in general, that I think I'll just quit trying.

After 25 years of debating, arguing, pleading, compromising, begging, etc., with absolutely nothing to show for it, I'm tempted to just tell 'em all to fuck off, I just can't care anymore.

6. No, I refuse to let anger rule my life.
Instead, I have channeled that rage into productive acts. I wholeheartedly recommend it. O8)

9. I'm trying, believe me!
Unfortunately this latest fiasco has shot down my emotional fortress.

I'm gonna get back to my meditations and readings though. I also refuse to live in this state of anger for very long.

11. Then let me help you re-build that fortress.
It's that kind of cooperative spirit that we need to reclaim in this country. Giving in to the anger simply fuels the demonic chimp and his minions.

8. My feeling right after the 2000 selection was...
"Well, he took the White House by the skin of his teeth, so he'll have to be bipartisan". Ah, the days of innocence.

10. Angrier and sadder
Speaking from a purely selfish point of view...

I really expected my retirement years to be a little happier than this!

I didn't anticipate having to feel ashamed of my country.

17. Compounded anger is more accurate.

The complete failure of these stooges, once el... err selected, to address any of the major concerns of international terrorism expressed to them by the previous administration, and the absolute denial of doing just that. Add to that the debacle that ensued and has us eyelid deep in Iraq with no way out, and a total of more than 6000 dead Americans and countless (simply because they refuse to count them) Iraqi and Afghan civilians.

Want more?

The burgeoning herion crop. The denial of there being civil war in Iraq. Swimmingly? Make that Drowningly. And to top at least this layer of the rage cake, anyone who has the tamarity to point this, or a thousand other reckless fuckups out, is labeled by the mental midgets and moral cowards in charge (and their drooling army of useful idiots) as being not only UnAmerican, but as enablers on a Chamberlainian scale. Sheik heil yourselves on that count freepers, your boy likes kissing the ruler of the country that spawned the vast majority of those who attacked us.

15 of 19. Talk about a mandate. And I don't mean Jeff Gannon, Your Monkeyness.

Today is my oldest nephew's birthday. His younger brother was supposed to work in Manhattan THAT DAY and called in sick. I did not know this until 10PM THAT NIGHT. My 9/11 is and will always be one of memories of horror, uncertainty, anger and sadness.

And that was before this group of monsters got their hands on it and twisted it into an incessant horror that has it's anniversary on every day they do something to make things worse.

And that's a daily occurance.
