BBC's viewing of the 2nd part PT9/11 grossly re-writes Bush's history.
It just showed Bush giving his National Speech about the terrorist attack moments after the second plane hit the Twin Towers and before the Pentagon hit. :wtf:

Looked all in charge instead of looking around the classroom and being whisked off to hours of silence and nobody knowing where he was.

Maybe THAT is the point of getting this movie aired on this day?

Other than that, this movie was worthless, pointless.

Somebody needs to get the real sequence of Bush's response out there LOUD AND CLEAR.

:puke:

16. Demand ABC give Clinton, Berger, Albright et. al an uniterrupted
interview on ABC to go over the inaccuracies. If not, then see you in court ....

The discovery process is going to be hard for the Chimp.

2. Want the rarest video in the world?
Try finding the footage of him talking in Louisiana, while refueling for the flight to Omaha. Scared shitless, pasty-faced, voice shaking, with a BOY AM I IN TROUBLE look on his face. I saw it live that day, and repeated the next day, and not once since.

The scariest video I ever saw was of Poppy during the first Gulf War.

Iraq has just launched SCUDs into Israel and Israel was hot to retaliate (which would have *ahem* complicated things to say the least).

CNN aired a clip of Poppy as he was trying to manage the situation.

He was completely incoherent, clearly terrified and had totally lost it.

Never saw that clip again...

13. Great point warrens
I remember seeing that live and thinking that we were in deep, deep shit. It probably took Rove days to talk Bush out from under his desk and to get him ready for his bullshit bullhorn moment in NY.

10. Nope, this is BBC 2, but I have noticed a change over the past
couple of years - but they still have this news show nightly, its on now right after the PT9/11:

11. Yeah I am watching this now...:-)...posted the link above.
:hi:

I didn't feel much outrage during the rest of the movie in terms of portraying events - it felt so much like a mediocre tv drama, but this re-creating of Bush's response really riles me.

I just have to believe that nobody will believe it - or even see it because fewer than hoped will sit this out. :D

14. Well, this show did give the idea that Bush's team/CIA also
dropped the ball, but it is the showing Bush giving his formal speech while the towers are still standing that gets my goat....

This is really stretching the time and sequence.

18. because this has nothing to do with truth. this is a political payback
to the * admin for something. it would have been worse if there was no outcry from the left. 20 minutes of Sunday's showing was cut.
