I fully support the business decision to put advertising on DU, but is there anyway we can have the "Grey's Anatomy" banner promoting the season 2 DVD taken down? Skinner, Earl G. its your call but I wanted to raise the issue. Afterall sales of that DVD go to ABC/Disney.

1. Too bad that show is on ABC! I loved it.
Had to email them that they had lost a viewer. Somehow I am sure that they do not care . The sheep that are watching the 911 show are being 're-hypnotized'. My mother is one of them and the wedge just goes deeper. Ignore the ad. Peace, Kim

4. Ads often reflect the topics discussed

Because the thinking is - if you're talking about a certain topic, you will be more likely to click on an ad relating to that subject...ABC/Greys Anatomy - for example

So as long as ABC is a topic...or keyword...and it's been a major search word lately...then ads relating to ABC are more likely to appear.

Current examples:

The Pentagon now part of the Bermuda Triangle!

Check the ads out.

Cheer up. Let's plan our DU trip to The Hague for the BushCheney Trials!

Not so obvious example

5. I never see any of these banner ads that people so often mention
My guess is it's due to FF w/Adblock extension.
