I just watched Bush at Pentagon memorial service.
It all looks so fake. George and Laura follow a soldier who was carrying a wreath. The soldier puts the wreath on a stand then backs away, and George and Laura touch the wreath at the same time, as if they were straightening it but they didn't. Then some music plays while they stand still, with very fake sad looks. George fidgets with his left lapel using his right hand, and Laura thinks he is puting his hand over her heart so she puts her hand over her heart for a split second, then puts it down. Then they go over to talk to people in the crowd. They are solemn for about two minutes, then they are laughing with some in the group about something. I could her it on TV.

I know I am going to wake up soon. pinch...pinch...come on...

1. I don't even have the TV on today.
I just can't stomach all the BS. :puke: I do feel sympathy though for all the families who lost loved ones on that day. What a nightmare it must have been (and still is) for them to endure.

2. That's standard protocol for wreath laying.
That is how it is done all the time at the Tomb of the Unknowns at Arlington. The honor guard carries the wreath and the "Layer" only touches it.

I do think it is humorous that the Bush's don't know when to put their hands over their hearts. Leave it to Pickles, Monkey see, monkey do.

4. I am sorry but I must admit Bush has no remorse about 9/11
it just angers me, that we still have this jerk sitting in WH, while he orchestrated the whole 9/11 episode with his band of thugs.

5. did you notice that the Guard had to lead
them with his hand? almost like dog obedience training- We use that flat palm sign to let our "God" know when to stop, and wait- and he behaves very well. The Soldier looked a little frustrated I thought- more than solomn..

this is such a game
but the pawns really bleed and die

8. You should have seen him at the Flight 93 remembrance....
ceremony in Pa. He was yucking it up so much that it was embarrassing to watch. Evident to all was that the surprisingly small crowd in attendance were laughing and yucking it up even louder than he was. It certainly wasn't a scene of grieving families in a somber mood. They were throwing their arms around him having their pics made, cramming their brats in his face for photos. It was one of the most undignified and irreverent scenes I've ever witnessed.

I guess the families that aren't bush* fans must have skipped it.

9. I saw that on the tv at the place my husband and I had lunch.
My husband made the comment about *'s back being to the tv camera. I looked and saw the people around him with their cameras out. I also said to my husband, "Who else would roll the tv camera with 8's back towards them?" This was also on Fox News,eh, make that Faux News. My nephew refers to Fox News and the Bush Channel. All Bush, all the time.
