What did freepers do before Clinton came on the scene?

It seems like hating Clinton and blaming him for everything wrong in their lives is what gives freepers their meaning for life. What did a freeper do before 1992? The net gave freepers a place to meet up but before did they stay in their rooms and piss on themselves or something? Who did they blame back then for their fucked up miserable lives? I know rim job was a no body then, still is but did he roll around in his chair pissed off at the world?

They never got over Nixon. They let it stew and stew until Clinton won. Then they let it rip. Most of the witch hunt on Clinton was due to their embarrassment from Nixon.

Clinton wasn't a total loss, for sure, but he did:

1) implement NAFTA
2) sign welfare reform bills
3) increase the amount of crimes eligible for capital punishment
4) accept refugees from Cuba, but not Haiti
5) As governor, allowed Reagan to use his airports on the way to helping the Contras.

While this list only focuses on the bad, it also only scratches the surface.

Before Clinton, the Freeper as we know it today was just a twinkle in the global fascists' eyes. The freeper golem had only been test run in the field with limited success during the Reagan years because the cultural environment still needed to be far more toxic for the freeper strain to gain virulence. The undermining of the public education system had only recently gotten underway; the "greed is good" meme had just been injected into the American collective psyche; the muscle bound paramilitary action-hero-out-for-revenge was in its first incarnations; World Federation Wrestling had just started to redefine the meaning of masculinity and victory; The Stars and Stripes had yet to be anchored successfully as a mass hypnotic trigger; Lee Greenwood had only recently discovered the lost chord of statist religion for the underemployed; The Jack Chick style of cartoon religion hadn't yet found its way into the board rooms, courthouses, school boards and sacristies of America; Walt Disney still limited its psychic butchery to mice, dogs, ducks and dwarfs; Reality TV had not yet been co-opted from Asia; There were still people who knew how to say "I wouldn't eat that if you paid me a million bucks!" and so on...

Despite what Rush Limbough would have you believe, there really weren't any freepers before Clinton. When Clinton got elected the event acted as a catalyst in the (by then) debilitated American psyche by creating the perfect growth medium for freeper culture to finally develop. After that the golems were coming off the assembly line en mass just in time for the neocon clone wars.

So you see, it's all Clinton's fault.
