24. I'll show you WHY these kids are getting sick

and how screwed they are - I was in West Virgina a few months ago making a film about Mountain Top Removal, and put this short together - Another person fighting for the environment, and another reason why those kids are getting sick.

Not to mention they are being KILLED by the MTR mining, where they are literally Blowing up the Mountains and flattening them, filling the valleys with Pollution.

This is one of my pet projects, I'm trying to get Robert Redford to show up and HELP THESE PEOPLE, show his face up there.

I hope this is of use to the cause, pass it along to Grandpa if someone needs to know WHY the kids are getting sick :)

In my area of WV: from the kids whose elementary school was next door to the sewage treatment plant to the middle school that had a water leak so bad that there was moss growing in it. Hell, for a month while I was in high school, there was no water in our building.

folks should be made aware of the ultimate devastation occurring here in my home. West Virginia's slogan is "Almost Heaven", but the coal companies like Massey and Arch are making these areas "nearly Hell". I think there is a video (taken from a film made in the 70's, I believe) out there somewhere showing the destruction caused when you mix copious rain and valley fill. Very sad and eye-opening. I'll try to locate and post the link.
