Five Years after 9/11 I miss my friend
Goodbye was the hardest thing I said to a man who fought next to me in Vietnam. He was a firefighter in New York and ran into the tower 1 to help people who where hurt. He never made it out and I miss him as a friend and brother. I am angry at the attack and will not ever forget him. May St.Peter take care of him like he did others. And may he forgive me for my anger at Bush for using his death as a reason to go to War. And This Day My Hope is our Country heals. I miss you Brother

3. I agree with your first response
I do think he knows you think of him. And yes, I know that hardly helps and nothing will ever be the same.

(hug instead of prattle) I'm sorry for your loss.

4. Yes, he knows. He knows you love and miss him.
He's watching over you. And he understands your anger and is glad you're using it for good (you must be - you're on DU and sharing your story).

I'm so sorry for your loss.

5. I'm so sorry for your loss.
I agree with everyone here, your friend knows you miss him.

I'm thinking of you and everyone who lost a loved one five years
ago, today.
You have a right to be angry, we are all angry at Bush and his
fabricated reasons to go to war, killing thousands of people
and making our world more unstable.

I hope you find some peace, today.
