CNN: How can we improve our image? "Elect a new president"

[JHB]

An Irish reporter was being interviewed about the decline in America's image abroad (contrasting the present with the near-total solidarity after 9/11)

He talked about the (correct) perception that Bush's White House were lying to them, and the diversion of resources from Afghanistan to Iraq.

When asked "How do we get that back?", how do we restore the respect, his answer was immediate: "Elect a new president"
