Fast Forward 5 yrs. to the 10th Anniversary of nine eleven.
Will the tenth anniversary have a different feel than today's commemorations? Will there be shiny tall replacements for the twin towers by then? Will we have gotten the alleged perp by then? Will the global war on terror still be going on by then?

Will they have bush and laura and dick and lynne STILL laying wreaths at ground zero on the tenth anniversary? Will the truth have leaked out by then? Will there have been another awful attack to make nine eleven seem like the good ol' days by then?

Will it be an official day off by then? Will it be officially called patriot's day by then?

Will the exploitation still be going on in ten years?

1. On the 10th Anniversary
We'll hear how that was scrubbies double in the classroom reading to the children, while the scrub was personally flying a stealth fighter and he shot down 16 terrorist planes that were heading for various US targets around the country.

3. I hope that in five years bu$h and cheney are behind bars
This day should be treated no different than December 7th. Remembered but not hyped as a patriotic day. If anything we all should be wearing black today, not Red White and Blue. Last week there was a notice circulated at work telling everyone to wear Red White and Blue to commemorate the anniversary of 9/11. From what I have seen so far today, not that many followed through.

4. Sadly, another big hit
No more terrorist strikes until Dem takes office January 2009. Then a carefully timed big hit, reminiscent of Iran's freeing of hostages AFTER Carter took office, except in reverse.

So Republicans will still be running as the Security Party. "We kept America safe after 9/11 under Bush and then the girly-men Dems allowed an attack, just like Clinton did!"

Just my guess.
