It's commercial-free. I started a thread earlier requesting input about how ratings are tracked, just to make that I WOULDN'T boost ABC's numbers if I watched it. I wanted to know exactly what I was criticizing and believe me, now that I do, I'm more fired up than ever. I might watch some of tomorrow night's episode, just to get the contrast between their depiction of Bush's (in)action, versus tonight's complete and unveiled character and professional assassination of Clinton. After that, ABC and it's subsidiaries can kiss my liberal ass, because they will not get a dime from me.

I just like to see things for myself, rather than relying solely on second-hand info, I guess. :shrug:

I never had ANY intention of doing so. In fact, ABC is no longer even programmed on my tv. I watched the French documentary on 911 shown on CBS for the second time, because I want to hear the DeNiro- narrated follow-up with some of the firefighters 5 years later. It was worth watching. I can not imagine in any way possible that that libelous tripe on ABC was worth even ten seconds of my life. :shrug:

It isn't usually 'pleasant'- but then neither is voting for a candidate I'm almost positive will lose, or sitting through board meetings, or other frustrating, often boring, and infuriating but necessiary evils.

How can we understand why others believe what they do, if we refuse to try and understand how they have come to the perspectives they hold? And how can we ever hope to rationally, and honestly dialog with them otherwise???

I don't blame you for not watching it, but please don't tell folks to shut up, which is what this feels like-
