12. You won't miss Extreme Makeover....
They 'madeover' a house for a family near here. The truth behind some of those stories aren't sometimes quite what they appear.

13. OK, so now I'm boycotting three companies.
Toledo Blade - For their love of their union workers and blitzing the air telling us that they need to capitulate. (2-3 times an hour)

Disney and ABC - Obvious and blatant partisanship that is beyond lieing for political reasons.

ZERO overnight market share rating, all you Dems with those Nielsen black boxes flip past ABC and Disney channels like they were the plague. And don't relent all the way to November.

Them sonofabitches at Disney will be on their knees trying to sell advertising. They wanted this fight so bad, let's give them their wish.

Make em dead, and keep em dead !!!!

20. Well, don't watch ABC anyway, so I guess I'm boycotting regardless...
I'm trying to think of the ABC shows that I watch currently and keep coming up blank, except that sometimes I'll watch "AFV" if the Simpsons is a repeat. I guess not anymore...

21. Duration of boycott?
It would be hard to motivate large numbers of people to commit to a permanent boycott of a major network.

A possible alternative: There should be a concerted effort (primarily by Bill Clinton, officials from his administration, and Congressional Democratic leaders) to get ABC to run a program presenting the other side of the story. Individuals could commit to boycotting unless and until such a program is aired.

22. The end point is what I'm thinking about as well.
What do we want? It depends upon what you think the infraction is.

Imho, the exploitation of 9/11 for political is the biggest sin here. The second biggest sin is the hijacking of the public airwaves by Republican propaganda. Other DUers might have a different take.
