1. Is this some new video, or an older one spoken of months ago?
Just curious - I have heard of such cases. It's on the rise in the UK too.

2. SWAT teams are but domestic terrorists.

We are a civilized society, not a militarized one.
SWAT teams are NOT the police, they are boot-thug fascists. They have no purpose in our world.

3. I saw that video quite some time ago.......very scary
The promotors said they had all the proper permits, everything was legal, and they planned to sue the authorities.

I wonder what has happened since.

I think this was in Utah?

5. It looks fake
I have seen rave break ups, I know damn well they don't use armored swat teams.

6. This one did. It's real, although several months old.

I remember the kid in the late 80s who was asphyxiated by riot-clad cops in the parking lot of a Dead show in L.A. Turns out he deserved it, because he was "behaving erratically". Define behaving erratically? I guess they were walking through the lot and saw him do a handstand, so they grabbed him and pounced on him.

Welcome to America!

10. Thanks for clarifying. I've heard extensively how this incident was real
Actually I haven't watched the video yet (I'm mostly a text man for the Net). Maybe I should.

11. What he said... they try to stop them through uh, idiocy like this.
Demand's a lot higher than supply, as raves go.

15. This happened over a year ago (2005). I followed the story for a while
Edited on Sun Sep-10-06 05:48 PM by file83
and it appears that it was really an "event of opportunity" for the police to take advantage of so they could use the rave as a "training mission" for crowd control. Notice how the "police" look EXACTLY like military personel?
