I think that for at least one day, we should open the doors to the dungeon and allow free discussion in GD on issues relating to 9/11 conspiracy.

I, for example, would love to see someone explain the "free-fall/gravity" conundrum (i.e. how did towers fall in 10 seconds -virtually same speed as gravity when the intervening floors should have slowed onsiderably the acceleration caused by gravity.

Admins, others, pleasse consider.

3. There are sites that dispel 911 myths
One such myth is that the towers fell at the speed of a free-fall. Anyways heres one such site if you wish to check it out www.911myths.com

Is there some mechanism that I'm unaware of that's preventing people from visiting the 9/11 forum?

8. There's a forum just for that

Besides, I think a bunch of threads about passenger jets firing missles into skyscrapers on the fifth anniversary of the attacks would be in poor taste.

9. Very Bad Idea.
Free-fall has been explained MANY times. It's bogus.

I suspect you already know that. Or should.

10. OK. I Withdraw My Request!!!!!
I just don't agree with shutting down discussions.

If we have ignore and we have hide thread, why do we have to resort to the dungeon...

I do not have my mind made up about what happened. I just want to hear as many opinions as possible with as much freedom as possible. That's all.

But, having said that, I think there are extremists on both sides of the 9/11 issue that are a bit nutty.

I don't think all questions have been fully anwered about that day and I think that by relegating to the dungeon, we send -too strongly- the message that there is nothing worthwhile to discuss.
