1. In short
The new "line" that the admin is putting out that the Shi v Sunni
fighting in Iraq was caused by al Qaeda and the Zarqawi.

Any fact or question that Dick did not like he said "I disagree w/ the
premise of you question, Tim." and then went on to give a self
serving answer that was usually false.

He also did a lot of putting things into "context."

When asked if he would still invade Iraq knowing what he
knows now (i.e. no link to 9-11, no WMDs, no threat to America) he
said, "yes."

He had one creepy, "I am sure we will maintain both houses after the election."

Russert got him pretty good but again failed to do any real follow up.

7. A couple of things I found compelling:
1. Cheney claimed that Zarqawi was tight with Saddam. (Of course, this flies in the face of this week's Congressional report)
2. Cheney said that, if left in power, Saddam and Iran would be working hand-in-hand in developing nuclear bombs. I found this a stunning claim considering the past relationship between Saddam and Iraq.
3. Russert asked a horrible question about whether or not Cheney had been hunting since the accident. Whoever decided to put that question in the list should be kicked in the nads.
4. Cheney was cool and collected the whole time. If you were an uninformed (and I mean totally uninformed dittohead type) you'd be convinced that Cheney was hitting homeruns and Russert was a snippy jackass. The rest of us recognized that Cheney was making it all up as he went along.
