Why would anyone want to lie about 9-11
in the first place? Why would they want to change the facts?

If as the Republicans say, Clinton was responsible, then why not show exactly what he did? Why lie about it? What do they have to gain by lying about the situation?

Who gains by these lies? That is what we need to be asking? Who would stand to gain anything by lying about one of the saddest and darkest days of our lives?

1. The Republicans gain by these lies.....
it takes away from the lies they used to start a war with Iraq. Also, Clinton was not in office when 9/11 happened. The lies are being put out right before the elections when their numbers are down. And last but not least, Bushco seems to lie about everything.

24. When you want to destroy the NEW DEAL you don't want to lose power.
If people really voted on national defense issues they would have thrown Bush out of office in 2004 and removed the Republiklan congress in 2002 but at least Republican voters and Republican leaning swing voters want to see the NEW DEAL Destroyed so they voted Republican.

Just like states rights and fiscal responsibility, national security and national defense appears a sham issue to these voters. Destroying the NEW DEAL lies underneath each of these Republican voters.

They want to bring us back to the Old Frontier

2. You have to ask?
They lied to get us to attack a sovereign nation. The republican party has nothing but lies left.
How can you defend a lie except with another lie? It's what they do! IT'S ALL THEY DO!

4. That's where my wrath comes from.
The are using the tragic death of Americans for political gain in the upcoming elections. I cannot tolerate this. You may want to catch the 911 widow that will be on Couric to see what she says, because she is pretty pissed.

5. The bu$h regime gains by these lies because they failed to
follow the warning that were provided by pre 9/11 intelligence.
The lies are an attempt to cover up the failures of the bu$h regime. It has been the practice of the bu$h regime to blame the Clinton's for everything that has happened in the last 6 years.

18. lets say truly powerful people are involved
and in America, no person that is truly powerful is known to the body politic, as the
employers of the politicians are like the saudi's above the law. Well, then some longer
force than 6 years has been resurrecting a 19th century meme of unfettered corporate liberalism (classic),
and that force that wags the bush tail is not put down with a docking.

Obviously USA-Inc. has been reaping a lot of bad karma recently, and the battles of the
puppetmasters must explain this. The puppet theatre of maligned malignant symbols,
is no persons' truthteller, and a world will remember 9/11's history more like that article,
were we all have been made puppets of the corporate war machine.

15. It's an actual neocon term:
"The source of the term is a quotation in an October 17, 2004, New York Times Magazine article by writer Ron Suskind, quoting an unnamed aide to George W. Bush:

The aide said that guys like me were "in what we call the reality-based community," which he defined as people who "believe that solutions emerge from your judicious study of discernible reality." ... "That's not the way the world really works anymore," he continued. "We're an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you're studying that reality—judiciously, as you will—we'll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that's how things will sort out. We're history's actors . . . and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do."

7. the war of the narratives
When your entire government is based on "9/11 changed everything", then the history of 9/11
is the history of everything. Then what is up for grabs? The propaganda opportunity to
black brush all that is not with the new war movement.. one that conveniently coincides
with the republican assertion that their big war lie is a good idea.

So who are we? The coup is in trapping the viewers in to identifying with 'we' and this
stealing of the collective identity of social perception, that 'we' caused the attacks
by not sacking bagdhad in 1991... but then... didn't another bush coward champion that fuckup too?

8. Oh, I suppose money, power, vendetta and perhaps it's fun
...to just deflect attention away from the real problem. For example, watch here:

<snip>
Exxon-Backed Pundit Compares Gore To Nazi Propagandist

Sterling Burnett is a senior fellow at the National Center for Policy Analysis, an organization that has received over $390,000 from ExxonMobil since 1998. This afternoon on Fox, Burnett compared watching Al Gore’s movie, An Inconvenient Truth, to watching a movie by Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels to learn about Nazi Germany. Watch it:

ExxonMobil doesn’t have a substantive answer to Gore’s movie, so it bankrolls people like Burnett to smear Gore personally.

Dutifully, Burnett recently wrote an editorial defending former Exxon CEO Lee Raymond’s lavish compensation (which amounted to $190,000 a day in 2005). He failed to mention his financial connection to the company.

Notice how MSM <in this case FOX News> cuts off any discussion that even hints at the truth

politics.

Kissinger had a guy fired from the Council on Foreign Relations for writing a good review of the book The Pinochet File (http://www.amazon.com/Pinochet-File-Declassified-Atrocity-Accountability/dp/1565849361/sr=8-2/qid=1157899137/ref=pd_bbs_2/002-7593254-8792836?ie=UTF8&s=books), which is a book with almost no editorializing -- it's just an analysis of NSA documents.

What Kissinger and his friends did was basically have a guy fired for saying the sun sets in the west when they needed, for reasons relating to greed and a hunger for power, people to believe that it never rises.

20. What are they hiding?
About 9/11.

Mann Coulter attacks the widows for enjoying their husbands' deaths
Bushco, ABC blames Clinton, American Airlines and everybody else
Condi stands by her WMD
Rummy says everybody who disagrees is a Nazi.
Cheney says the opposition is feeding the terraists.
ABC calls us Clintonistas in a "news" article.

All this effort and money being spent on PR to keep themselves in power. That is the real goal here, not the war on terra, not oil, not freedomdemocracy, not wmd (which Rayguns sold to Iraq by the way, lets blame Rayguns why don't we?). The goal is to keep them in power for ever and ever amen. What did they do here that deflecting our attention is so important?
What did they do that they would risk blatantly making shit up to tell Americans "look over there, not here"?

25. Doesn't it make you wonder when you see how obvious they
are with the propaganda, how hard the must shove it down our throats-what the hell else you don't know? If we hadn't had a shoddy half baked 9/11 commmission some of this wouldn't be on record as refutatble. And that's all we've got. When I found out they lied through their teeth-and are still lying!!!!!!!about Iraq I started to be suspicious. When I started to notice how obvious and heavy the propaganda was-John Stossel on 20/20 two years ago (which used to be a half decent show years ago and then they made Mr. Anti-trial lawyer-the head anchor!)-I started to wonder about everything.

Without the truth, we have nothing but a country of lies.
