1. I predict that prices will be near that level by November 7th

I was getting gas today and the lady at the counter made mention about prices being low.
I said, why do you suppose that is so. Her reply was "The election"
It opened up a dialog that with me saying that I was glad other people were seeing this. She went into a rant about bu$h.

More than once this week, I have heard some comments from some unsuspecting places that were definitely negative to bu$h. One was even in church, which has been a fundie haven.

2. I remember the evening of Sep 11th when I

stooped to fill up at this Republican owned gas station. He raised the price to $3.00 a gal with a long line..I went in and told him he was gouging people and that he was a crook....He told me that I should get in line if I needed gas because I could not buy it cheaper anywhere else...I drove across town and filled up for $1.45 and went back there and showed my receipt to him and everyone else that was waiting in line....I haven't been back there since...
(I guess I have been back) I put up a John Kerry poster on the edge of his building that he didnt find for a long time

5. The afternoon of 9/11

was the first time in my lifetime that I had seen a "2" as the first number in a gas price.
Knew then that we were totally f*cked, even more f*cked than we already were with Shrub at the helm.
