No more Grand OIL Party & Rumsfailed
Those were two signs my husband spotted from the Kansas City-Talent-Fundraiser; That was a cool bunch of protesters.
Can someone tell me what the address was in Kansas City where the protesters were?
toast:

2. Thanks so much evlbstrd, this is awesome
I thought the area was familiar. My son works at the Department of Agriculture, which used to be at
89th and Ward Parkway. We went right by there when we went to his home on 73rd Street. He doesn't live
there anymore, but still works at USDA.

Where the rich people live.

3. GREAT pictures- thanks for posting that link!
The protest pictures people share on DU
always gives me hope.
At least I know I am not alone.
Thanks-
BHN

5. Events like this do it for me, too.
And the after-parties are pretty good, too.

6. It's ALL about the after parties...
As we watch the country and the planet hurl deeper
into the abyss, it is important to spend time with people
of like minds. I honestly don't see it getting better
before it gets worse.
At least we are not going down quietly and we
are certainly not going down without each other's
hands to hold.

THAT is what keeps me from jumping off a bridge.

BHN
