2 guys have been caught off the FBI Most Wanted list in the last week
Edited on Sat Sep-09-06 10:49 AM by Bleachers7
As you may know, the FBI has a 10 most wanted list. http://www.fbi.gov/wanted/topten/fugitives/fugitives.htm It's a list of the baddest of the bad that are still on the loose. Last week Warren Jeffs was caught. He was replaced with career criminal, escapee, and multi-cop killer Bucky Phillips. Mr. Phillips was nailed last night. So we are going to have another Finalist added to the list very soon. Another person on the list is Osama Bin Forgotten. I know that Osama is involved in the greatest murder in US history, but I feel like it's a waste of opportunity to catch a domestic criminal by having him on the list. I don't think there's anyone on the civilized planet that doesn't know were after him.

2. There are people in the White House who are guilty of even greater
crimes than those two. We know where they are. And they are totally safe and secure from any possibility of having to pay for their crimes either.

It's a strange world, getting stranger by the day. The moneyed corporatist are now making films that twist and turn the criminal of the bush** administration into heros of epic proporations.

Ever read Superman comics? The issues where Superman goes into Bizarro Land? Well, somethimes I think we've entered some kind of evil parallel universe ourselves.

3. so, now its an 8 most wanted list?
Bush does not want Bin Laden captured. It would limit his war powers

4. Something I notice are the charges against Osama
<snip>
MURDER OF U.S. NATIONALS OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES; CONSPIRACY TO MURDER U.S. NATIONALS OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES; ATTACK ON A FEDERAL FACILITY RESULTING IN DEATH

USAMA BIN LADEN

Date of Photograph Unknown

Aliases: Usama Bin Muhammad Bin Ladin, Shaykh Usama Bin Ladin, the Prince, the Emir, Abu Abdallah, Mujahid Shaykh, Hajj, the Director
<end>

It says nothing about being wanted or charged with the crimes leading to and occurring on 9-11. And all the murder charges are for murder victims outside of the U.S. Am I missing something here?

Also. isn't the FBI ten most wanted list a reflection of the amount and percent of FBI resources devoted to apprehending these criminals?

6. That's a real interesting point.
I wonder if the question has been asked before.

5. I've heard a lot of criticism that Warren Jeffs was even on it.
But I'm not qualified to judge who would have been a better fit, personally...

8. I actually had no original problem with it either.
People I knew surprised me after I mentioned Tucker Carlson's rant against it (which happened to throw in some just plain ignorant comments about the case but which got ignored in favor of focusing on the nature of the crimes not being cop killing or blowing embassies up).

9. "Bucky" is a
multi-cop shooter. He shot three police officers; one has since died. He has burglarized a gun shop, and stole about 45 guns plus ammunition. He also had stolen at least 15 cars, and burglarized numerous other places.

He was exactly what the 10 Most Wanted list is for.
