was awful. This list of security events in Iraq is too long for me to post out here - go to www.alertnet.org/thenews/newsdesk/IBO948560.htm for that information.

Just seems like everyday now the scene on the ground is just awful - everyday it is worse than the day before.

If this isn't Civil War then I don't know what civil war looks like.

And the "wounded" number has been revised - its up to 19,945 now.

And to make things even worse the situation in Afghanistan is worsening daily.
