Under the guise of an international incident, Bush sold China a Spy Plane
Made for TV movie based on actual events.

April 1, 2001 - an intelligence gathering spy plane mission that goes awry - or does it?

Forced to land after colliding with a Chinese fighter plane, a US spy plane and her crew are detained by the Chinese government. Tensions escalate. Americans watch to see what Bush will do.
Finally, the crew is released and later, the dismantled plane is returned. Bush issues an apology to China (of sorts - and from a man who never apologizes)

But what if - (premise for the made for TV movie)

The plane was meant to land? What if the technology was meant to go to China? What if - the real story behind the headlines was a covert measure to sell China US technology? What if the Bush family, with a long history of business dealings in China, wanted this? What better cover story than painting China has the bad guy holding American service-people hostage, while US technology is in jeopardy? The nation tenses - and waits...all the while...a business deal is going on behind the scenes.

Just saying - if we get to write history any way we want to...then let's have some fun.

Tin foil hat not required...but a vivid imagination is..a sense of humor helps as well. A mean streak doesn't hurt... :)

3. I've asked that question many times.
The primary responsability of the crew was to destroy their equiptnent lest it fall into the hands of the enemey. They could either ditch the plane in the ocean or bust it up on the way to their landing. They had plenty of time. They did neither.

4. Another good point to base our new version of history on
(Which is the purpose of the thread) To show just how it works.

7. LMAO
I'm just having fun

Disclaimer for DHS:

It's just an over-active imagination, coupled with a keen sense of the sardonic...and a teeny tiny mean streak..at work here.

(Don't GTMO me )

6. The Bushes have been neckdeep in using and being used by China for
decades.

Poppy Bush's deals with Chinese industrialists that brought about the rise of WalMart and the WalMartization of the US economy. Prescott Bush wasn't head of the US-China Chamber of Commerce to promote democracy - he was put in place to usher in the rise of global fascism.

8. Yeah - I was using that fact...coupled with an actual event
...and coming up with my premise.

Same way the ABC people were using an actual event (911) coupled with non-related facts (Clinton did used to be President and he did get a blowjob) and lies to get their version of history.

I like my story better :)
